MCC volleyball splits four matches at Jefferson Tournament

The Tribunes go 2-2 in the season-opening event.

WATERTOWN, NY - The MCC volleyball team split four matches in the season-opening Jefferson CC Tournament Saturday,

The Tribunes (2-2) opened by defeating Erie CC 25-16 and 25-10 before dispatching Cayuga CC 25-12, and 25-16.

MCC then fell to Onondaga CC 25-23, 25-19 to wrap up pool play, and then lost 25-22, 25-17 to Corning CC.

Gabby Morey totaled 32 kills and eight blocks on the day. Jessica Jenkins also had a strong tournament, finishing with 74 assists.
