ROCHESTER - Dayle Taber tallied 21 kills to lead the undefeated MCC volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Region III rival Genesee Community College Thursday evening.
Taber registered her 21 kills in just 28 attempts for the Tribunes, who moved to 8-0 in the region and 15-0 overall. The win was the 399th for head coach Tara Jehlen.
Scores were 25-19, 25-17, 25-19.
Montana Vescovi had 31 assists and eight digs for MCC. Emily Barrett added five kills and Rachael Nicholls totaled 10 digs. Essence Britt added two blocks.
MCC travels to Genesee on Saturday for a Region III pod tournament, where the Tribunes will take on Niagara, Jamestown, and Erie.
